Printing from your disk or digital artwork

We are Apple Macintosh based, but can print from most PC formats
of the same programs.

When sending files by disk, Floppy , Zip or CD, please include only the files nessecary to print your job. Back up the files you send us. We strongly recommend that you have us print a proof on the media you will be using so that there are no suprises.

File Format:

We request the use of the Encapsulated Postscript (EPS), Adobe PDF, Postscript, TIFF, or Lab color file formats. If you have created a graphic that includes some kind of desktop scan or imagery, please include these on your disk. Because of the variety of fonts, we ask that you turn all your fonts to outlines. Also please include the "native" file along with the EPS file.

Output size:

Scanning and output resolution. All bitmapped images and photographs must be large enough to be reproduced at the resolution you desire. To determine the appropriate scanning resolution use the following formula. Multiply the output height or width x the desired output resolution (25 standard, 50 high and 100 very high) divide by the input original scan height or width to give you the scanning resolution. Your file generally should be about 5mg per sf at the final output size. If you need guidelines on scanning or have questions, please give us a call or e-mail us.

Screentech shall not be liable for any losses, damages or expenses, whether direct or consequential, due to or caused by delays in delivering a processed or printed product of Screentech to the customer.

Artwork Spec's

  • Save images as EPS or Tiff Files
  • Make sure all white boxes have NO background color selected-use "NONE".
  • Turn all fonts into paths
